Microsoft 365 & Licenses
Microsoft 365 apps and services for students and staff at Kosovo’s public universities.
On behalf of KREN, the Ministry of Economy signed a Microsoft Enrollment for Education Solutions (EES) agreement in October 2023. The agreement has been in effect since January 2024 and covers most students and a number of professors at public universities.
Through the EES student-use benefits, around 40,000 students have access to Microsoft software and services, including the Office apps, OneDrive and Teams.
Microsoft 365 A3 for Education licenses are currently offered to public universities. All public universities use them through the single KREN Azure tenant, which allows central optimisation, monitoring and end-user support.
