Për t’i shërbyer këtij qëllimi, që nga muaji janar 2023 deri në maj 2024 do të zhvillohet faza fillestare e projektit të ofrimit të qasjes në internet dhe krijimi i rrjetit të brendshëm në Shkollat Fillore dhe të Mesme në Kosovë, ku synohet të zgjerohet rrjeti i KREN-it dhe të instalojë Wi-Fi në 200 shkolla të përzgjedhura me prioritet më të lartë.

Qëllimi i këtij projekti është që këto shkolla të kenë rrjetin komunikues me kapacitet të dedikuar për lidhje të internetit dhe të ofrojnë mbulim të plotë Wi-Fi në klasat mësimore dhe ambiente të tjera arsimore.

Menaxhimi i të gjitha pajisjeve të rrjetit të secilës shkollë do të realizohet nga Qendra Operative e Rrjetit KREN.

Pas përfundimit të fazës së parë me 200 shkolla, do të vazhdojë zgjerimi i rrjetit me shkolla tjera, me synimin kryesor që të ofrohet mbulimi i plotë i të gjitha shkollave në Kosovë me infrastrukturë moderne.

The Ministry of Economy, through the Kosova Research and Education Network, continues the realization of the mission on digitization of education and research institutions in Kosova.

In order to serve this purpose, from January 2023 to May 2024, the initial phase of the project providing internet access and creating internal networks in Primary and Secondary Schools in Kosovo will be implemented, where it is intended to expand the network of KREN and install Wi-Fi in 200 selected schools with high priority.

The goal of this project is provision of communication network with dedicated capacity for internet connection and to provide full wi-fi coverage in classrooms and other educational facilities.

The management of all network equipment of each school will be carried out by the KREN Network Operations Center.

After the completion of the first phase with 200 schools, the expansion of the network with other schools will continue, with the main aim to provide full coverage in all schools in Kosovo with modern infrastructure.
