One academic identity for secure Wi-Fi at every public university and private college in Kosovo, and at eduroam locations in more than 100 countries.
eduroam (education roaming) is the secure, global Wi-Fi roaming service of the research and education community. In Kosovo it is provided by KREN for all public universities and private colleges, connected to the global eduroam federation.
You create and manage your own eduroam account at eduroam.kren-ks.eu. Sign in with your institutional Microsoft or Google account: the portal confirms your institutional email, shows your eduroam username and lets you set or reset your eduroam password. Each institution has its own realm, so your identity looks like [email protected] or [email protected].
The geteduroam app installs the correct eduroam profile on your phone or laptop and avoids manual certificate mistakes. Once it is set up, your device connects automatically wherever “eduroam” is in range. The connection is encrypted and your password is never shared with the host network.

How to start using eduroam

Get your eduroam account
Open eduroam.kren-ks.eu, choose “Manage my account” and sign in with your institutional Microsoft or Google account. Your eduroam username is shown and you can set or reset your eduroam password.

Install geteduroam
Install the official geteduroam app on Android, iPhone, Windows or macOS and choose your institution in Kosovo. It installs the correct profile automatically.
Get geteduroam - 3
Connect
Enter your eduroam identity in its full format, for example [email protected], and the password from the portal. Your device then connects automatically at every eduroam location.

Forgot your password?
Sign in to the portal again and reset it securely. You can reset only your own eduroam password.
